Komodo Trip 2025

We just returned from an incredible adventure aboard the Indo Master to Komodo National Park, and what an unforgettable trip it was! The liveaboard gave us the perfect way to explore this world-renowned destination, with days full of breathtaking dives and evenings spent swapping stories under the stars.
Before our diving adventure started, we toured Bali with my good friend Tjok, a local guide, visiting Temples, dining on renowned Crispy Duck, whitewater rafting and even had time for Balinese massages. Our accommodation was the spectacular Royal Kamuela Spa and Resort in Ubud, located next to the Monkey Forest (yes, we had visitors), with an outstanding staff, beautiful accommodations and fantastic food, it served as a great way to segue to this side of the world.
Komodo truly lived up to its reputation—healthy reefs teeming with life, from tiny pygmy seahorses and colorful nudibranchs to graceful manta rays, dolphins, and massive Napoleon wrasse. Every dive revealed something new, and the diversity of marine life here is unlike anywhere else.
Of course, no trip to Komodo would be complete without seeing the legendary Komodo dragons. Our land tour gave us the chance to walk among these prehistoric giants in their natural habitat, rounding out the adventure with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Amazing diving, incredible wildlife, great company—it’s safe to say our Komodo expedition was one for the books!
